Time sure flies! The end of October will mark a year since Dogs Of A Good Society has been incorporated. We have worked hard on getting our IRS 1023 non profit status application submitted over this past year and now we are just waiting for the results. We are also gearing up for our first Annual Meeting this week with our board members. One of our requirements each year to continue to have D.O.G.S. up and running.
Looking back we have worked on:
- Fundraising
- IRS 501c3 application
- Providing donations and supplies
- Data base for fostering, resources, etc
- Networking
- Social media
- Outreach
- Most of all assisting animals however we can, please help us pass the word that we are here and we are here to help :)
In the past year I have learned a tremendous amount from a non profit start up and I look forward to continuing to learn more and more every day. D.O.G.S. has been a career and life changing experience for me and I wouldn't change anything about it. I am very blessed to be here and to see D.O.G.S. grow. It's become not only D.O.G.S. mission to assist animals, but my life mission. And to think it all started with these two little furbabies...:)
